Trade experience should never stop growing , and after beginning an apprenticeship in welding and fabrication at age 15 the young man knew where he belonged. Brents time in training under Pro Stainless ended on a high - literally - when tasked as part of the force of specialist trades  to tackle the construction of Auckland's Sky Tower- a project that made headlines and world firsts in feats of engineering  and design. 

True  tradesmen know the end of the apprenticeship never truly comes if you are to hone and perfect your craft.  Brent went abroad gaining more experience across the United Kingdom, and Australia. Different fundamental approach’s and work cultures were soaked up quickly, and the best of these filtered and stowed.

Patriotism and deeply entrenched family roots beckoned young Brent back to build something of his own, in the best place on earth .  Coastal Welding and Fabrication was born in 2018 but Brents hunger for knowledge and fascination with what could be possible in his familiar landscape of sparks, blackened steel and flame, is never satisfied.

Adopting new technologies and adapting systems as the trade  world advances through this  technical revolution keeps Coastal Welding and Fabrication ahead of the field. Never afraid to learn, or adapt, Brent and his team are constantly adding to their repertoire of skills, and building loyal customer bases.

In the residential field CWF cater to the likes of Sir Peter Montgomery, and that neighbor over your back fence who has borrowed your water blaster for too long. No job too big or small , we strive for equal outcome of quality and care on your project.

CWF service the commercial sector and have worked with construction giants Mainzeal, Fletchers, Hawkins, and Installs and Joinery Services, to name a few. We strive to build positive professional business relations across the spectrum of NZ business, and international alike.
